Aztlan activists to meet with the Mexican Congress
University of California Professor Armando Navarro will be among 300 Latino leaders heading for Mexico City for a two-day parliamentary session that was approved unanimously by all political parties of the Mexican Congress. Dr. Navarro is the author of "Mexicano Political Experience in Occupied Aztlan: Struggles and Change" and a significant member of the "Aztlan Movement" intelligentsia.
The primary purpose of the Friday and Saturday special parliamentary session is to discuss bilateral solutions to the growing hysteria in the USA over immigration. Dr Navarro has in the past called on Mexican political leaders to become more assertive in defending Mexican immigrants in the United States. "More than ever, we need to unify and secure support from Mexico in order to fend off the numerous attacks being made on our migrant communities," Professor Navarro said.
The US/Mexico relationship has become increasingly strained as the US xenophobic forces of hate become more and more hostile towards Mexican immigrants. The situation has come close to erupting into major riots as occurred in France with its Muslim immigrant population.
Mexico, between the USA and Central and South America, holds an extremely strategic location concerning the overall security of the United States. The powerful Bolivarian Revolution led by President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela has added an explosive mixture to the political drama that is approaching its final curtain.
Mexico through PEMEX is the number two importer of oil to the USA. The Bolivarian "Ejercito Revolucionario Popular" (ERP) is now targeting Mexico's oil and gas pipelines. Rumors are that they are now looking to blow up the pipelines heading north across the border. If they are successful, American consumers will be seeing the price of oil surge to over $200 dollars per barrel. This could collapse the US economy or at the least add another heavy economic burden on American families already struggling to save their homes because of the scam that ocurred in the mortgage industry.
It is time for the American people to wake up and realize who their true enemies are. It is not the Mexican people. Building walls is not the solution. Friendship is.
