The Family of Barack Obama in Kenya
The father of Barack Obama was married to Kezia Obama in Kenya prior to marrying the senator's mother Ann Dunham in Hawaii. Kezia married Barack Obama Sr. in 1957 when she was a teenager. The father was killed in a car crash in 1982 when the senator was 21 years old.
