Betancourt thanks "La Virgen de Guadalupe" for her release

Ingrid BetancourtFARC Female FighterIngrid Betancourt announced yesterday from France that she will be making a special pilgrimage to Tepeyac in Mexico City to give thanks to La Virgen de Guadalupe for her release and survival in the Colombian jungle for six years as a prisoner of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC).

Betancourt said, "I will be there in Tenochtitlan to thank her and to explain to the world how she was there in the jungle with me from the beginning to the end." La Virgen de Guadalupe is considered the "Queen of Mexico" and the "Empress of the Americas."

Perhaps, while at Tepeyac, Ingrid Betancourt can pray to La Virgen to rid Colombia of the criminal, and George Bush lackey, Alvaro Uribe.
